Typography Task
Using Adobe Illustrator, we were assigned to design 8 posts
applying the eight typographic design systems: Axial, Radial,
Dilatational, Random, Grid, Modular, Transitional, & Bilateral.
We were restricted to one colour beside black, and one font on
each post. Here is my work:
Thoughts
The first one (on the very top, alone) is the one I’m happy about the most. I made it by masking a photo of Bowling. This task was the second most enjoyable after styling the website. I wish I had more time to try new ideas. I also wish we were allowed to use more colours and illustrations. For some of the posts, I used Frank’s paintings as an inspiration.
